Job Overview

We are searching for a skilled Video Editor with 3 to 5 years of professional experience to join our team for long-format video projects based in New Delhi (South) or Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage to produce visually appealing, engaging videos by trimming, cutting, adding transitions, text overlays, and special effects as required.
• Collaborate with the creative team to interpret scripts and storyboards into videos that effectively communicate project goals.
• Perform color correction and grading to enhance visual consistency and aesthetics throughout the videos.
• Edit and mix audio tracks, including music, voiceovers, and sound effects, to ensure clear and balanced sound quality.
• Work closely with directors, producers, and cinematographers to ensure smooth coordination from shooting to final editing.
• Incorporate client feedback into video edits while meeting deadlines and maintaining high quality standards.
• Continuously update knowledge of video editing tools, software, and techniques to improve workflow and output quality.
• Manage and organize video assets such as raw footage, project files, and final videos systematically.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience in video editing, ideally within media production settings.
• Proficiency with industry-standard video editing applications including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or comparable software.
• Comprehensive understanding of video production workflows and techniques.
• Familiarity with color grading and audio editing software such as Adobe After Effects and Audition.
• Cultivated attention to detail and strong creative storytelling abilities through video content.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
• A portfolio demonstrating your professional video editing work is essential.
