Role Overview
We seek a Video Editor with meticulous attention to detail and a strong creative vision to transform raw footage into engaging, polished long-form content. The ideal candidate excels in a dynamic, high-output setting, taking full ownership of projects, and is adept in pacing and storytelling techniques particularly suited for YouTube platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit diverse long-form videos including product demonstrations, explanatory content, educational materials, and storytelling formats.
- Create captivating narratives by skillfully managing pacing, rhythm, and structure.
- Incorporate motion graphics, b-roll footage, subtitles, and sound design to enhance viewer engagement.
- Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, company founders, and growth managers to realize project objectives.
- Convert rough ideas, script drafts, or screen recordings into refined, high-quality video compositions.
- Optimize video content for maximizing YouTube retention, watch time, and audience interest.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in image and video Generative AI tools.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Proven track record of delivering creative video content from conception to final product.
- Keen understanding of visual aesthetics and marketing trends with the ability to propose compelling content ideas.
- Energetic, responsible, and adaptable in fast-paced work environments.
- Familiarity with social media formats, trends, and audience engagement strategies.
