Job description
About Higgsfield AI
Higgsfield AI is an exceptionally fast-growing generative AI firm, generating $500 million annually with over 25 million users worldwide, powering 390 Fortune 500 companies and handling more than 6 million AI-generated creations daily. The company is pushing the boundaries of AI-driven video production and cutting-edge creative solutions, offering a dynamic environment for those shaping AI-native user experiences at extraordinary speed.
Role Purpose
This position focuses on owning and enhancing the general-purpose creative platform—the core product and library functionality—that all users engage with daily and critically influence sustained usage. The Product Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end experience and cohesion across various creative tools to ensure a seamless, delightful user journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and be accountable for the full product experience including image and video creation, collaboration, asset management, and the cohesive user interface that integrates these components.
- Manage adjacent product elements such as libraries, project handling, sharing processes, and navigation that unify Higgsfield's offerings into a singular, fluid product experience.
- Maintain the highest standards of product quality and user experience, serving as the authority on design consistency, flow quality, and default behaviors.
- Drive a rapid development rhythm, shipping product updates weekly rather than quarterly cycles.
- Develop and monitor essential performance metrics such as user activation, generation success rates, session engagement, retention, feature uptake, and cross-product interactions.
- Collaborate extensively with design, backend, frontend, and specialty teams to ensure the core product remains a coherent platform as new verticals integrate.
Required Qualifications and Traits
- Profound enthusiasm and hands-on experience with generative image, video, and large language models (LLMs), including an informed perspective on model capabilities and suitability.
- Exceptional product judgment with the ability to identify user experience issues preemptively, trusted equally by design and engineering teams.
- Proven track record in launching new products from inception and scaling them effectively; early-stage startup or founding experience is highly regarded.
- Strong technical understanding of AI/ML technologies including the ability to assess model trade-offs, performance considerations, and costs independently.
- Adept at inquisitive problem-solving, self-driven research, and being adaptable when confronted with new data without ego.
Unsuitable Candidate Profile
- Preference for following strict, fully defined specifications instead of proactively identifying and solving problems.
- Lack of regular use or familiarity with generative AI tools, hindering product intuition.
- Desire for slower product release cycles that conflict with fast-paced weekly shipping.
Desirable Experience
- Background in consumer-facing products, creative software, or AI-native companies, especially those located in the US, Europe, or Asia.
- Direct involvement in shipping products related to image or video generation, editing, or creative applications.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive USD-denominated salary tailored to experience, competencies, and role responsibilities.
- Equity through stock options enabling participation in long-term company growth.
- Relocation assistance for candidates willing to move to Almaty.
- Ownership over a platform impacting millions daily.
- A dynamic, collaborative workplace with opportunities to influence product and company direction.
- Career advancement and skill development opportunities with company growth.
- Provision of necessary professional equipment, meals, transportation, and other office perks.
Additional Information
This role is entirely on-site at the Almaty office, with a mandatory five-day workweek. The organization highly values in-person teamwork as essential to effective problem solving, speed, and team cohesion.
