Role Overview
We seek a creative and detail-focused Video Editor to be part of our innovative AI Microdrama team. This role involves crafting engaging short-form microdrama episodes for popular vertical video platforms including YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels, by editing AI-generated video clips alongside raw footage, scripts, and creative assets.
Core Responsibilities
- Transform AI-produced footage into captivating short microdrama episodes.
- Adhere to provided scripts and storyboards to effectively convey the narrative and emotions.
- Maintain consistency in characters and scenes throughout the series.
- Incorporate editing elements like cuts, transitions, sound effects, background music, and subtitles.
- Ensure pacing remains dynamic to capture viewer interest quickly and retain attention.
- Produce videos formatted vertically (9:16) tailored for short-form video platforms.
- Collaborate closely with creative and AI teams to elevate video quality and storytelling impact.
- Incorporate feedback promptly and meet established project deadlines.
- Deliver polished final videos featuring balanced audio, visuals, timing, and overall production quality.
