Role Overview
The Video Editor position is a permanent, on-premise role located in Bhubaneswar. The individual will be tasked with compiling raw footage and developing edited video content suitable for multiple digital formats. Key daily duties encompass cutting clips, organizing sequences, applying proper transitions, improving audio tracks, and conducting fundamental color correction to maintain visual uniformity and style. This role requires close partnership with production, design, and marketing teams to grasp project demands, integrate feedback effectively, and produce refined videos consistent with brand aesthetics. Additional responsibilities include supporting motion graphic additions, managing media libraries, and organizing project documentation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Capability to manage end-to-end video production activities including planning, shoot coordination, and asset management.
- Expertise in video editing with professional tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalents.
- Proficiency in video color grading to improve visual tone, consistency, and mood.
- Experience creating and integrating motion graphics, including titles, lower thirds, and simple animations.
- High attention to detail with ability in visual narrative, pacing, timing, and composition.
- Basic skills in audio editing and mixing, ensuring clear dialogues and balanced soundscape with music or effects.
- Willingness and ability to work onsite in Bhubaneswar and effectively collaborate with multiple departments.
- Preferred educational background or certified training in film, media, design, or related disciplines.
- Previous experience in digital content production, advertising, or technologically oriented media initiatives is advantageous.
