Role Summary
The Video Editor position is a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Mumbai. The primary responsibility involves assembling and editing raw footage to produce coherent and visually appealing narratives that align with project objectives. Daily duties include trimming footage, applying transitions, syncing audio, performing color grading, and adding motion graphics or visual effects as necessary. This role works in close partnership with producers, directors, and creative colleagues to interpret project briefs, refine edits through feedback, and deliver final videos in specified formats and resolutions. Additionally, the editor will manage media assets, organize project files, and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
Key Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in video production and editing with proficiency in managing complete post-production workflows.
- Skilled in video color grading to enhance visual impact, ensure consistency, and support branding or mood requirements.
- Experience in creating and integrating motion graphics and graphic elements to enhance narrative and branding.
- Proficient use of industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of pacing, visual composition, and sound design,Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, respond constructively to feedback, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Educational background or training in film, media, communication, animation, or related disciplines is preferred.
- Previous experience in similar video editing roles, particularly in corporate, agency, or production house settings, is advantageous.
