Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Video Editor based in Kozhikode, Kerala. The selected individual will be tasked with editing and compiling raw footage into polished, captivating videos tailored for marketing, training, and internal communications. Responsibilities include clipping, sequencing, incorporating transitions, graphics, subtitles, sound effects, and maintaining brand consistency across all outputs.

Key Responsibilities and Collaboration

The Video Editor will work closely with creative, marketing, and technical teams to grasp project goals, enhance scripts and storyboards, and ensure videos are optimized for various digital platforms. Efficient media asset management, meeting project deadlines, and upholding high-quality standards aligned with ASHCODE’s technology-oriented branding are key aspects of this position.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency with leading video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience with motion graphics and visual design, including familiarity with Adobe After Effects or similar software.
• Sound design expertise encompassing audio editing, voice-over integration, background music, and sound effects management.
• Capability to create and optimize digital content for social media and corporate websites.
• Strong storytelling acumen, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail to convey complex technical and business ideas through engaging video content.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and follow project directions effectively.
• Preferably, prior experience in video editing or multimedia roles with a focus on IT or technology-related content is advantageous.
• A diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communication, Design, or a related domain is beneficial, or equivalent hands-on experience supported by a strong work portfolio.
