Role Overview
The Video Editor position is a full-time onsite role based at the Bose Works studio in Bengaluru. The editor will be responsible for shaping and crafting video content suited for social media platforms, short films, and other digital formats to create engaging and coherent stories. Key duties involve organizing and assembling raw footage, performing color corrections and sound adjustments, and collaborating closely with directors and producers to fine-tune pacing and narrative flow. The role also includes integrating motion graphics and visual enhancements, maintaining well-organized project assets, and delivering finalized videos in the required formats and aspect ratios. Close teamwork with production staff ensures deadlines are met and the company’s creative and technical standards are upheld.
Required Qualifications
- Expertise in video editing and production workflows including timeline management and media organization.
- Proficient in video color grading techniques to maintain visual consistency across projects.
- Capability to develop and incorporate motion graphics and other visual effects to boost storytelling impact.
- Experience working with professional editing and post-production tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects.
- Strong knowledge of video formats, codecs, frame rates, and distribution standards for social media and digital channels.
- Excellent attention to detail and storytelling aptitude with openness to feedback and ability for quick revisions.
- Effective communication and collaborative skills essential for working on-site with creative and production teams.
- Relevant academic background in film, media, visual communication, or corresponding practical experience.
Minimum education
Bachelor's Degree
