Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and imaginative Video Editor who possesses at least one year of professional experience. The candidate must exhibit strong visual storytelling prowess, be adept with pacing and editing techniques, and have familiarity with motion graphics. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects is essential. The role demands transforming raw footage into polished narratives that effectively engage and communicate the core message with emotion and timing.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit both short and long-form videos geared towards social media, brand advertisements, and digital content.
- Convert raw video materials into professionally structured and visually compelling stories.
- Comprehend project goals thoroughly to produce clear and impactful final edits.
- Apply storytelling principles to maintain a natural flow and retain audience interest.
- Carefully choose shots, music, sound effects, transitions, and other visual components to enhance the narrative.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro software.
- Excellent visual storytelling capabilities with a keen sense of timing, rhythm, pacing, and composition.
Preferred Skills (Advantageous but not mandatory)
- Experience with editing ads, promotional content, social media videos, reels, and YouTube content.
- Basic proficiency in color grading techniques.
- Understanding of sound design and audio mixing fundamentals.
- Familiarity with graphic design basics.
- Knowledge of trends in Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form video formats.
- Competency in creating motion graphics using After Effects.
- A robust portfolio or showreel demonstrating editing skills and storytelling ability.
Portfolio Requirement
Applicants should be ready to present examples of their previous work, including portfolios or showreels highlighting their video editing expertise.

Compensation
