Role Overview

The Video Editor position is a full-time role based on-site in Indore. This role involves transforming raw video footage into polished, captivating content aligned with project goals and brand standards. Daily responsibilities include compiling clips, applying smooth transitions and effects, performing basic color corrections, and incorporating audio as well as motion and graphic elements. Collaboration with creative and marketing teams is essential to grasp project requirements, maintain well-organized project files, and meet established deadlines. The Video Editor will also participate in ideation to enhance visual storytelling quality for a variety of media platforms.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Expertise in video editing and production, proficient with standard industry editing software.
  • Competency in video color grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance aesthetics.
  • Experience creating motion graphics and graphic elements that enhance viewer engagement.
  • A strong understanding of visual storytelling principles, including composition and pacing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across creative, marketing, and production teams.
  • High attention to detail, effective time management, and multitasking capabilities.
  • Basic knowledge of audio editing and exporting content optimized for various digital platforms.
  • Educational background preferred in film, media, communication, or relevant fields; alternatively, equivalent professional experience is accepted.
