About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Video Editor to join our team in Trivandrum, Kerala. This role demands someone who can quickly transform unedited footage into captivating, trend-aligned videos tailored for Instagram and other social networking platforms. The candidate must thrive under fast-paced conditions and showcase a strong grasp of modern social media video aesthetics and trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce captivating short-form videos from raw clips within a turnaround time ranging from 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on content complexity.
• Create videos optimized for formats like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and comparable social media venues.
• Implement rapid cuts, seamless transitions, captions, visual effects, music, and other engaging elements consistent with prevailing social media trends.
• Edit podcasts, interviews, and long-form audiovisual recordings into polished final products and bite-sized clips for social sharing.
• Recycle original footage into multiple social media-compatible formats to maximize content reach.
• Guarantee that videos remain visually stimulating and uphold the assigned brand's tone and quality standards.
• Stay informed about evolving Instagram and broader social media editing styles, techniques, and content formats.
• Collaborate intimately with content creators and creative teams to fully comprehend briefs and deliver outputs within stipulated deadlines.

Candidate Requirements

• Documented experience in editing social media videos, with a focus on short-form content creation.
• In-depth knowledge of Instagram Reels and fast-paced video production techniques.
• Hands-on experience editing podcasts and video interviews.
• Ability to work efficiently to produce high-quality video content under tight deadlines.
• An acute sense of timing, pacing, narrative construction, and visual arrangement.
• Skilled in professional video editing platforms including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalents.
• Must be able to work on-site in Trivandrum, Kerala.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Graphic design proficiency is advantageous.
• Familiarity with design software such as Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar applications.
• Experience in creating thumbnails, social media graphics, or motion graphics will be a plus.

Other Details

Immediate availability for joining is preferred, and the work location is strictly office-based in Trivandrum.
