Role Overview

The Video Editor position is a full-time, on-site role located in Kochi, Kerala. The editor will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, cohesive videos that effectively communicate the brand’s educational goals. The role involves assembling video sequences, applying transitions, incorporating audio tracks, integrating graphics and motion elements, as well as performing color correction and grading to ensure visual consistency.

Collaboration is key, as the editor will work hand-in-hand with producers, content creators, and designers to refine storytelling and maintain project standards. Additional responsibilities include organizing media assets, managing timelines, and preparing final deliverables for different platforms and formats.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in video production and editing techniques.
• Expertise in video color grading with a strong eye for visual harmony.
• Ability to add motion graphics and graphic elements that enhance storytelling.
• Experience using professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and motion graphics tools like After Effects.
• Prior experience working on educational, corporate, or digital video projects is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and openness to constructive feedback.
• Effective collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.
• Good time management abilities to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• A diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communication, or related disciplines, or equivalently relevant practical experience is preferred.
