About the Role
Concept PR India Ltd seeks a skilled and innovative Video Editor to join its Itanagar branch in Arunachal Pradesh on a full-time, on-site basis. This role demands a creative professional with 5 to 7 years of experience in video editing, visual storytelling, and content creation, possessing a meticulous eye for detail and an understanding of trending digital and social media video formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and refine high-quality videos tailored for digital, social media, corporate communication, and brand promotion.
- Convert raw footage into captivating and visually attractive content fit for various platforms.
- Collaborate with creative, content, and account teams to comprehend project briefs and align video output to client goals.
- Oversee the entire post-production workflow, encompassing editing, color correction, audio mixing, transitions, graphics, and basic animation effects.
- Create both short-form content such as Reels and Shorts, as well as longer videos as needed.
- Incorporate suitable music, sound effects, subtitles, motion graphics, and other visual enhancements to improve video quality.
- Ensure all videos are optimized for multiple platforms, aspect ratios, and formats.
- Work jointly with photographers, videographers, graphic designers, and content creators during production and post-production phases.
- Maintain adherence to visual quality standards, brand guidelines, and storytelling consistency across all projects.
- Keep abreast of the latest video editing methodologies and social media trends to continuously improve output.
- Efficiently manage multiple projects at once without compromising on deadline adherence or quality standards.
- Organize video assets, project files, and editing resources systematically for easy access and retrieval.
Required Skills
- Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro is mandatory.
- Familiarity with After Effects, Photoshop, and/or DaVinci Resolve is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of video composition, pacing, storytelling techniques, transition usage, color grading, and sound design.
- Capability to work with diverse video formats and aspect ratios.
- Awareness of current social media video trends and formats.
- A strong creative vision paired with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and turn concepts into engaging video content.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to independently manage projects, take responsibility, and meet deadlines consistently.
Candidate Profile
- 5 to 7 years experience in video editing and content production.
- Experience with agencies, media companies, production houses, digital firms, or communications is preferred.
- A proven portfolio or showreel showcasing varied editing skills is highly favored.
- A proactive, detail-focused, and creative individual able to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
