Role Overview

As a Video Editor in our post-production team, you will manage video editing projects from receiving footage to delivering final client-approved products within strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos across platforms like TikTok, Reels, and Facebook for various SME clients, including cutting, pacing, color correction, sound editing, on-screen text, and motion graphics integration.
• Incorporate voiceovers as per project requirements.
• Adhere to a set monthly content schedule, ensuring all edits are completed at least three business days prior to publication.
• Coordinate internal and client reviews, handling the handoff process and managing feedback loops.
• Address modification requests promptly—implementing minor fixes within the same day and escalating major changes along with proposed solutions.
• Deliver finalized uncompressed video renders and maintain meticulous file organization and backup protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

• Possess a professional portfolio featuring at least five completed video projects, preferably created for business or brand clients.
• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
• Strong intuition for short-form video content, understanding the importance of engaging the viewer within the initial two seconds.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to remain calm while meeting multiple deadlines; receptive to constructive feedback.
• Good command of written English and French for crafting captions and client communications; proficiency in Kreol is advantageous.
• Focus on the effectiveness and performance impact of videos beyond aesthetic quality.
