Job Summary

We seek a committed Video Editor to produce engaging short-form videos tailored for platforms like Instagram. The candidate will take ownership of video content projects—from assembling raw footage to final delivery—working in close coordination with the founder and videographer.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create and edit short social media videos including reels and talking head formats with motion graphics, captions, and text animations.
• Edit service, lifestyle, and product footage aligned with client branding.
• Perform colour correction, audio cleanup, and select background music.
• Maintain organized project files, footage, and templates per client.
• Manage client feedback, apply revisions, and meet deadlines consistently.
• Support internal rebranding efforts by producing video content for the company's own channels.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of two years’ professional experience in video editing, ideally focused on short-form social media content.
• Proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Adobe After Effects.
• A portfolio or showreel demonstrating video projects, including motion graphics you personally created.
• Strong understanding of video pacing, audience engagement, and Instagram content strategies.
• Ability to manage multiple client projects independently and honor deadlines without direct follow-up.
• Preferred but not mandatory: basic skills in photo retouching using Lightroom or Photoshop plus capability to capture simple phone-recorded videos.

Working Conditions and Benefits

• Location: Mangaluru, onsite only; applicants must currently reside locally and not intend to relocate later.
• Work schedule: Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break.
• Compensation range: ₹20,000 to ₹25,000 per month, determined by evaluation.
