Role Overview

The Video Editor will be responsible for shaping raw footage into polished films that narrate stories with emotional resonance. These films range from wedding highlight reels to corporate promotional content, all reflecting the distinctive Storyfy storytelling approach.

Responsibilities

• Transform raw wedding, event, and corporate footage into cinematic highlight reels, teasers, and complete films.
• Apply color grading, audio synchronization, effective transitions, and proper pacing to produce emotionally engaging videos.
• Collaborate closely with videographers and creative teams to ensure alignment on narrative arcs and client expectations.
• Efficiently organize and manage large amounts of raw video content.
• Complete projects within specified deadlines without compromising quality.
• Continuously update knowledge of video editing trends, styles, and techniques pertinent to weddings and events.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in editing wedding films, event videos, or corporate content.
• Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong storytelling skills with a keen sense of pacing and visual aesthetics.
• Basic expertise in color grading and sound design.
• Capability to handle multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Submission of a portfolio or showreel displaying prior work is mandatory.
