Role Summary

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and skilled Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer. This position is ideal for professionals with a flair for visual storytelling, corporate communications, and insightful knowledge of various sectors including startups. You will craft the storyline in our video projects and enhance them using bespoke motion graphics, kinetic typography, and dynamic visuals that connect with clients and their target audiences.

Primary Duties

• Edit and compile raw footage into compelling stories to improve clarity, flow, and narrative impact, ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging.
• Create captivating storylines tailored to client goals, particularly in the commercial, corporate, and startup domains.
• Translate complex ideas into visually accessible and engaging video presentations.
• Design and deliver motion graphics such as animated titles, lower thirds, smooth transitions, and UI/UX animations that complement the story.
• Integrate graphics during editing to maintain visual pacing and interest naturally.
• Ensure all motion graphic work complies with client brand guidelines, color theory, and typography standards.
• Research client industries, including startup fields, to add relevant authenticity and context to video content.
• Keep abreast of digital media advancements, editing styles, and motion graphic innovations to maintain fresh and effective content.
• Collaborate with producers and creative leaders from initial cuts through to final delivery stages.
• Manage editorial schedules, adhere to deadlines, and juggle multiple post-production assignments proficiently.
• Incorporate client and stakeholder feedback effectively to deliver broadcast-quality final assets on time.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated professional experience in video editing coupled with an impressive portfolio showcasing advanced motion graphic skills.
• Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; experience with DaVinci Resolve or additional design software is advantageous.
• Strong grounding in design fundamentals, typography, composition, and rhythm/sound design principles.
• Knowledge of startup environments and corporate industries.
• Skilled at simplifying complex subjects into engaging visual narratives.
• Ability to perform in dynamic production settings involving multiple stakeholders.
