Job Role

This position is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role located in Kolkata. The Video Editor will craft and refine video content for social media, branding initiatives, and advertising campaigns, ensuring each aligns with client goals and branding standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Editing raw footage to create cohesive narratives with smooth transitions and effects.
• Collaborating with designers and content creators to sustain unified visual storytelling.
• Performing basic motion graphics, color correction, and grading to improve visual impact.
• Optimizing videos for various platforms and formats.
• Offering creative input, managing multiple projects, and adhering to deadlines.
• Maintaining well-organized project files including active and archived materials.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven expertise in video production and editing covering complete post-production workflows.
• Skillful in video color grading and fundamental motion graphics techniques.
• Comfortable working with graphic elements and collaborating effectively within creative teams.
• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, along with motion graphics tools like After Effects.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent sense of pacing and timing, and an eye for visual composition.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced agency setting, managing multiple deadlines efficiently while working on-site in Kolkata.
• Educational background or training in film, media, design, or related disciplines is desirable. A portfolio demonstrating video editing work is a must.
