Job description
About the Role
We are searching for imaginative and energetic Video Editors to become members of our dynamic content team. Candidates passionate about video production and proficient in crafting YouTube long format videos, Shorts, and Instagram Reels are encouraged to apply. You will be responsible for producing impactful videos spanning Educational, FinTech, and Motivational content aimed at generating viral engagement daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and polish YouTube long-form videos by cutting, trimming, and enriching footage.
- Incorporate text overlays, transitions, B-Roll footage, and audio elements to enhance viewer engagement.
- Maintain brand consistency and optimize video content for audience retention.
- Create short-form videos such as Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts featuring compelling hooks, viral editing styles, captions, emojis, and trending effects.
- Employ fast-paced transitions and effects in accordance with current social media trends.
- Provide quick turnarounds for trending video projects.
- Utilize advanced video editing and animation tools including Filmora, Premiere Pro, Capcut, Adobe After Effects, and Illustrator to produce professional-grade outputs.
- Apply basic motion graphics and title animation skills (considered a plus).
- Collaborate closely with content creators and marketing teams to meet daily and weekly content release goals.
- Incorporate feedback under tight deadlines and revise work accordingly.
- Ensure organized file naming conventions and proper storage of all video assets.
Requirements
- Competency in Filmora, Premiere Pro, Capcut, Adobe After Effects, and Illustrator software.
- Strong instincts for pacing, transitions, and visual storytelling techniques.
- Experience editing content tailored for social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram Reels, and Shorts.
- Ability to deliver quality results within stringent deadlines.
- Creative drive and enthusiasm for producing viral content.
