About the Role
DigitalNewsSpaceOfficial is a digital media platform specializing in news, entertainment, and engaging content across various social and digital outlets. We are seeking a creative Video Editor to transform raw footage into compelling, polished videos including short clips, news reports, interviews, and podcasts optimized for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
Responsibilities
- Construct and edit videos emphasizing strong storytelling and viewer retention.
- Incorporate captions, transitions, music, B-roll, titles, and motion graphics to enhance video quality.
- Apply basic color correction.
- Adapt video content for distribution across multiple social media platforms.
- Ensure brand style consistency and timely delivery of video projects.
- Produce 2 to 4 short-form videos daily, with occasional work on longer interviews, podcasts, or news segments.
- Be prepared to deliver same-day video content for urgent news updates.
Job Requirements
- Proven expertise in video editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut.
- Strong storytelling skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced remote setup.
Work Schedule and Location
This is a full-time remote position with working hours from approximately 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Some flexibility is necessary to accommodate occasional urgent news content.
