Quest for Success, a Bangalore-based education organization focused on exam preparation and admissions counseling, is seeking a creative Video Editing and Reels Intern to join their marketing team. This role offers hands-on experience working with real content including Instagram Reels, student testimonials, event coverage, educational videos, and promotional campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other engaging clips.
- Transform raw video footage into polished, fast-paced, and captivating content.
- Edit videos featuring student success stories and testimonials.
- Produce content for seminars, webinars, events, and digital marketing initiatives.
- Edit talking-head videos led by founders and educators.
- Add visual elements including subtitles, captions, graphics, music, and transitions.
- Create compelling opening hooks to enhance pacing and viewer engagement.
- Repurpose longer videos into multiple short-form pieces for varied platforms.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and design teams to develop innovative video concepts.
- Stay informed on current trends and editing styles for Instagram, Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Experiment with AI-powered video editing tools to improve content quality.
Candidate Profile
- Practical experience editing short-form video content such as Reels or social media clips.
- Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, hooks, captions, and retention techniques.
- Proficiency with at least one professional video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
- Good visual sense for clean, professional video aesthetics.
- Familiarity with popular social media formats including Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Creative mindset, detail-oriented, and receptive to feedback.
- Ability to independently convert raw footage into finished video pieces.
- Located in Bengaluru and able to work full-time from the Koramangala office.
- Bonus skills: After Effects, motion graphics, Canva, Photoshop, AI video tools, or basic videography.
Eligibility and Application
The internship is open to students, recent graduates, and self-taught video editors. No formal degree in editing or design is mandatory as the quality of your video work is primary. Applicants should be available full-time in-office from mid-September to mid-October 2026 and for the full three-month internship duration. Submission of 3 to 5 samples of your best video work is essential for application consideration.
