Role Summary
We are seeking a Video Content Editor based in Bengaluru who will oversee the entire video production lifecycle for a leading client in the smart home automation sector. This role demands site visits, capturing compelling footage, and crafting appealing digital content that aligns with the premium nature of the client’s projects, focusing on residential developments, architects, and interior designers.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site video shooting including project walkthroughs, architectural and interior design videos, product demos, customer testimonials, installation processes, behind-the-scenes footage, and team features.
- Apply expertise in camera framing, lighting, composition, sound quality, and vertical video formats targeting Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Edit footage to produce polished short-form content such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, product showcases, and testimonials, ensuring seamless cuts, captions, music, transitions, hooks, color grading, and platform-ready exports.
- Support content creation by generating simple concepts, identifying key moments during shoots, drafting shot lists, and leveraging up-to-date short-video trends to maximize content output from each project.
- Possess or develop basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva, Photoshop, Figma, or Illustrator to create thumbnails, reel covers, social media creatives, and story designs.
Requirements & Skills
- Demonstrated strong abilities in video shooting and editing, especially for reels and short video formats.
- Visual storytelling acumen with a keen sense for aesthetics.
- Comfortable attending client project locations regularly with the autonomy to work independently.
- Experience with video editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or After Effects is preferred.
- Industry experience is not a prerequisite; however, an impressive portfolio and creative vision are essential.
Additional Information
- Work schedule is 6 days per week, based in office with frequent site visits.
- Immediate joining candidates will be prioritized.
- Salary range is ₹25,000 to ₹40,000 monthly; final pay depends on skills, portfolio, experience, and interview performance.
