Video Content Editor

Overview

The Video Content Editor at Spectrum Technology will be responsible for the end-to-end creation of compelling video material that highlights the company's repair services, educational programs, products, offers, and branding efforts on various digital and social media channels.

Key Duties

• Organize and execute video and photo shoots at multiple company venues including service centers, training institutes, and product sites.
• Produce professional recordings covering laptop, Mac, mobile devices, projector, printer repairs, training activities, product showcases, and customer-oriented content.
• Edit footage for multiple platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Google Business Profile, and WhatsApp.
• Develop diverse formats including reels, shorts, promotional, service, training, and product videos.
• Incorporate titles, captions, graphics, transitions, music, voice-overs, and ensure brand consistency.
• Manage technical aspects such as lighting, framing, sound quality, and camera setup during shoots.
• Create eye-catching thumbnails and short promotional visuals as needed.
• Maintain a well-organized archive of raw and completed video clips, photos, and project files.
• Align all content with Spectrum Technology’s branding guidelines and industry quality standards.
• Collaborate with marketing and service teams to gather content requirements.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in video editing and social media formatting.
• Meet project deadlines effectively.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience with professional video editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or equivalents.
• Strong understanding of video equipment such as cameras, lighting systems, microphones, and shooting techniques.
• Creative mindset with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to independently produce engaging visual content.
