Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal

We invite applications for a Veterinary Surgeon focused on small animals to join our dedicated team at Bryn and Golborne Veterinary Centre. About the Team and Workplace

You'll be part of a collaborative group comprising a Practice Director, a Clinical Lead, four veterinary surgeons, six registered veterinary nurses, and five support staff, spanning two locations. Bryn & Golborne Vets operates as a flourishing first opinion practice located in Ashton-in-Makerfield and Golborne, conveniently close to major northern cities and natural attractions. Our main facility adheres to green building standards, reflecting our commitment to sustainability and near carbon neutrality.

Working Hours and Schedule

The position is full-time, consisting of 36 hours per week over four days, with flexible scheduling options discussed during the interview. Additionally, there is a rotational Saturday morning shift once every four weeks from 9 am to 12 noon.

Both sites are equipped with advanced diagnostic tools such as digital x-rays, ultrasounds, blood pressure monitors, and tonometers, supporting comprehensive veterinary care.

Compensation

Salary ranges up to £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience, with a relocation allowance available up to £5,000.
