Veterinarian

Overview

This position centers on providing medical care primarily to small animals such as cats and dogs, with occasional duties involving larger animals. The candidate must demonstrate advanced clinical and surgical abilities, show genuine compassion towards animal welfare, and be dedicated to promoting community health.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose conditions, injuries, and diseases affecting small animals, focusing on cats and dogs.
• Carry out examinations, immunizations, sterilizations, and ongoing treatments for animals under care, including those owned by clients.
• Perform minor to moderate surgical operations while upholding rigorous care and safety protocols.
• Develop and implement health prevention and disease control initiatives, ensuring comprehensive veterinary documentation.
• Assist in rescue missions and emergency responses as required.
• Provide education to pet owners and visitors on responsible pet care, preventive health measures, and animal welfare principles.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine.
• At least three years of work experience in veterinary practice, with preference for those experienced in shelters or animal care facilities.
• Proven diagnostic and surgical competency.
• Availability and readiness to work in field and emergency environments.
