Job Overview
Join Halfords, the UK's largest automotive service, maintenance, and repair company, as a Vehicle Service Technician based in Staines-Upon-Thames. This position involves performing interim, full, and major vehicle services, along with related repair and replacement tasks including tyres, brakes, transmission, steering, and suspension systems.
Compensation and Working Hours
- On-target earnings can reach up to £40,910 annually.
- Base salary ranges between £32,500 and £35,910.
- An uncapped monthly bonus scheme offers average additional earnings around £5,000 per year.
- Work schedule consists of five days a week, with the service centre closed on Sundays.

Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent experience.
- Full driving licence with no more than nine penalty points.
- Proven experience conducting interim, full, and major vehicle servicing and performing repairs including brakes, suspension, steering components, and air conditioning service.
