Vehicle Evaluator

Position Overview

The role involves conducting thorough on-site evaluations of vehicles by visiting customer locations to inspect various aspects including engine health, mechanical components, and overall body condition. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying defects or damages and compiling detailed inspection reports. Regular coordination with internal teams regarding findings and traveling within designated areas is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical inspections of vehicles at customer premises.
• Assess condition of engine, mechanical systems, and bodywork.
• Detect and document defects, mechanical problems, and damages.
• Generate precise evaluation and inspection reports.
• Liaise with internal departments concerning inspection outcomes.
• Travel as necessary within assigned geographical locations.

Eligibility and Requirements

• Possess 4 to 6 years of experience as a technician or mechanic.
• Hold an ITI or Diploma certification (mandatory).
• Valid driving license and proficient driving skills.
• Comfortable with field-based work and direct customer interactions.
• Basic English reading and comprehension skills.
• Prior experience with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) companies like Mahindra First Choice or Maruti True Value is desirable.

Ineligible Candidates

• Candidates with Service Advisor experience.
• Individuals with commercial vehicle experience.
• Applicants from plant or manufacturing sectors.
• Those previously employed with competitors such as Cars24, Gaadi.com, Rev, OLX, CarDekho, CarWale, or CarTrade.

Ideal Candidate Profile

An automobile technician or mechanic with sound technical expertise, 4–6 years of relevant experience, valid driving credentials, and a readiness to travel and conduct vehicle assessments at customer locations.
