About the Role
Join Diversicare Healthcare Services, LLC as a full-time Van Driver based in Oneonta, AL. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of residents during transportation to and from medical appointments.
- Accompany residents throughout their medical visits and remain until the visit concludes.
- Follow specific protocols during visits, including signing in residents, presenting documents to medical staff, obtaining prescriptions and orders, scheduling follow-ups, and reporting visit details to the Resource Care Manager.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
- Physically capable of assisting both ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents with transfers between wheelchair and vehicle.
- Possess a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A.) qualification required.
- Clean criminal background check.
- Hold any additional certifications mandated by the state.
