Company Overview

SP+, part of Metropolis Technologies, is a pioneering artificial intelligence firm focused on real-world applications. We leverage computer vision technology to create seamless checkout-free parking solutions, eliminating the need for tickets, machines, apps, or credit cards, allowing users to simply 'drive in and drive out.' As the largest parking network across North America and Europe, we employ over 23,000 individuals managing 4,000+ locations.

We are transforming the parking experience, recognizing its omnipresence and impact in daily life. Our vision extends beyond parking, aiming to enable effortless, checkout-free interactions wherever life takes you, reclaiming valuable time.

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and innovatively, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of each vehicle prior to parking, documenting all observations.
  • Clearly communicate valet charges to customers.
  • Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safe driving principles.
  • Report incidents including accidents, safety risks, unusual events, and breaches of policy to supervisory personnel.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of local streets, significant landmarks, and major highways to facilitate smooth customer transportation.
  • Arrive punctual, well-groomed, and in full uniform for all scheduled shifts, remaining in uniform throughout the working period.
  • Support management by carrying out additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid state driver's license with a current address and a satisfactory driving record is required.
  • Skill in driving vehicles with manual transmissions is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work varied shifts, including second and third shifts as well as weekends, when necessary.
  • Must provide legal documentation confirming eligibility to work in the United States upon employment.
  • Strong communication skills to convey accurate information to customers and coworkers, and to manage customer issues professionally.
  • Basic arithmetic abilities including reading, writing, addition, and subtraction of US currency, with capability to understand instructions and brief written communications.
  • Able to follow both written and oral guidance, maintaining composure in the face of changes, delays, or unforeseen events.

Physical Requirements

Essential job functions require frequent standing, walking, and manual handling of cash and equipment. Occasional sitting, climbing, and balancing may be necessary. Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds occasionally is expected. Reasonable accommodations will be considered to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform these duties.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage ranges from $14 to $15, with the opportunity to earn additional income through tips. Eligible staff gain access to a variety of benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, flexible spending accounts, long and short-term disability insurance, life insurance, accident insurance, 401(k) plans, and paid time off.
