Position Overview

We are looking to add a motivated, service-centered Dish Steward to our team in Baton Rouge, LA. This role is pivotal in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring an efficient and hygienic environment in support of our hospitality services.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans thoroughly.
• Maintain and operate dish room and dishwashing machinery.
• Restock clean dishware and utensils to appropriate areas.
• Manage garbage disposal efficiently and hygienically.
• Perform detailed cleaning and sanitizing of the dish machine at shift end.
• Keep storage areas organized and clean to support kitchen operations.
• Assist with cleaning other restaurant areas as needed.
• Execute additional duties as assigned to support workplace efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Preferred minimum of a High School diploma.
• Prior experience in a similar dish steward or utility role is required.
• Capability to work flexible shifts and hours, adapting as necessary.
• Strong ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
• Proven team player committed to cooperative work dynamics.
