Utility Worker

About the Role

Join Sodexo as a Utility Worker based in Kuna, ID (META location). This full-time position primarily involves weekday morning shifts. The hourly wage ranges from $7.25 to $21.30 depending on experience and location specifics.

Key Responsibilities

• Manually wash dishes or utilize dishwashing equipment.
• Sanitize work surfaces including tables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain clean floors.
• Remove trash and relocate garbage to designated disposal areas.
• Clean various equipment employing approved chemical agents to meet sanitation standards.
• Restock consumables such as soap, paper towels, and other cleaning supplies.
• Engage in extensive walking and maintain mobility throughout shifts.
• Stand or walk for long durations exceeding eight hours as required.
• Perform physical tasks including reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Attend scheduled shifts punctually and maintain consistent work attendance.
• Complete additional duties as assigned, which may vary by client needs.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a high school diploma, GED, or similar equivalent.
• No prior experience necessary.
• Basic understanding of sanitation practices and food safety principles.
