Utility Worker

Position Overview

Join Sodexo as a Utility Worker supporting kitchen and facility functions by maintaining cleanliness and order in food preparation and service areas. This role involves equipment and utensil cleaning, floor and wall sanitation, supply management, and assistive setups as directed.

Work Details

Location: UNITED CLUB - FLL - 70128001 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Shifts vary with preference given to full availability. Employment is full-time onsite. Pay is $21.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Manually wash dishes or operate dishwashing machines.
• Sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks to maintain hygiene standards.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and thoroughly clean floors daily.
• Remove garbage and trash to designated collection spots.
• Clean equipment utilizing specific chemicals to meet sanitary protocols.
• Restock cleaning and sanitary supplies such as soap and paper towels.
• Perform tasks requiring significant mobility including walking and standing for extended durations.
• Lift and move objects up to 35 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Adhere to punctual attendance and consistent shift participation.
• Execute additional duties as assigned according to client or business requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or comparable experience required.
• No prior related work experience necessary.
• Basic awareness of sanitation and food safety principles expected.
