Overview
Join SSP Group plc as a Utility / Dishwasher at our Seattle-Tacoma International Airport locations, including brands like Ballard Brew Hall, Mi Casa Cantina, and Pei Wei. This full-time role focuses on maintaining a clean, sanitized environment for both guests and staff, ensuring a safe and pleasant dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across all kitchen and dining areas, including floors, walls, windows, vents, grills, and storage spaces.
- Dispose of waste properly in designated areas to uphold hygiene standards.
- Clear and reset tables between guests and transport service-ware to the kitchen.
- Pre-clean dishes, pots, and pans; operate dishwashing equipment and ensure proper storage of cleaned items.
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment to meet sanitary protocols.
- Assist guests with requests and communicate any special needs to supervisors or servers.
- Manage loading and unloading of supply trucks and stock inventory, including food rotation and temperature checks.
Requirements and Qualifications
- At least six months of experience in retail or food service settings.
- Preferred completion of high school education.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Capable of problem-solving in guest service situations.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work in confined spaces.
