Job Overview

The role of a US IT Recruiter involves sourcing, screening, and placing IT professionals specifically for US-based companies. This position offers an opportunity to learn the complete recruitment process under the guidance of experienced mentors.

Key Responsibilities

• Source candidates by searching job portals, LinkedIn, and internal databases, employing basic search techniques such as Boolean operators to identify both active and passive IT candidates.
• Evaluate resumes to verify candidates' skills, tools knowledge, and relevant project experience in alignment with job requirements.
• Conduct initial screening through brief phone or video conversations to gauge candidate interest, technical background, communication abilities, and availability.
• Coordinate and schedule technical and managerial interviews between candidates and clients or senior account managers.
• Maintain and update daily records in spreadsheets, tracking candidate progress, notes, and feedback.
• Acquire foundational knowledge about the US market, including tax terms like W2, 1099, C2C, and visa classifications such as H1B, OPT, and Green Card, under supervision.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline including engineering, science, commerce, or business administration.
• Experience: Entry-level to 4 years, with fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Language Skills: Strong proficiency in both spoken and written English is mandatory.
• Shift Availability: Willingness to work night shifts aligned with US time zones.
• Other Skills: Proficient computer skills, high energy, resilience, and a strong passion for pursuing a career in international recruitment.
