About the Role
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Junior US HR Operations Associate based in Visakhapatnam to support HR operational activities specifically for our US workforce. The role requires expertise in HR operations, employee lifecycle management, HR documentation, and HRIS platforms, with a focus on compliance with US HR policies and laws.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee complete employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, and updating employee data.
- Ensure employee records in HR systems are consistently accurate and up to date.
- Handle changes in employee status such as promotions, transfers, salary updates, and terminations.
- Assist in benefits administration and maintain employee documentation.
- Adhere strictly to company policies and US employment regulations.
- Prepare various HR reports, dashboards, and conduct data audits as needed.
- Address employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and systems.
- Collaborate effectively with HR Business Partners, Recruitment, Payroll, and Benefits teams.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive employee and HR data.
- Engage in process improvement projects and other HR initiatives.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in HR Operations, Shared Services, or HR Administration.
- Solid understanding of employee lifecycle management and HR operational processes.
- Hands-on experience with HRMS/HRIS systems like Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or equivalents.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and HR reporting tools.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational capabilities.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with US HR operations and employee data management.
- Knowledge of US employment laws and compliance standards.
- Experience in Shared Services or Global Capability Centers (GCCs).
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines.
