Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Minor Injuries Physician ready to move away from night shifts in Emergency Medicine toward a more structured and less stressful work environment. This full-time role is based in Cork, Ireland, offering a competitive salary of 95,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert care and treatment for patients presenting with minor injuries.
- Ensure high-quality patient management within a structured urgent care setting, moving away from emergency night shifts.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of five years' professional experience in Emergency Medicine, with at least nine months' relevant experience in Ireland to meet visa requirements and facilitate a prompt start.
- Current certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Prehospital Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Preferred qualifications such as Membership or Fellowship of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (MRCEM, FRCEM), Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM), or Diploma in Primary Emergency Care (DIPPEC).
- Registration with the Irish Medical Council is mandatory.
- Availability to commence employment within one month of offer.
