Upholsterer

Overview

Qatar Airways invites applications for a role as an Upholsterer in their Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) team based in Doha, Qatar.

Main Responsibilities

• Fabricate and refurbish components of aircraft furnishings as required.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently within set time limits.
• Ensure all upholstery work complies with company quality standards and protocols.
• Maintain safety and airworthiness according to manufacturer's recommendations.
• Observe regulatory requirements, including EASA and QCAA Part 145 standards, throughout maintenance activities.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Holder of a high school diploma or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in upholstery-related tasks.
• Competence in operating and maintaining specialized upholstery equipment and tools.
• Understanding of proper equipment stewardship including maintenance and handling procedures.
