UI/UX Developer

Role Overview

OneAnchor, a B2B procurement and vendor governance platform designed for residential housing societies, operates through an Angular and Ionic application deployed on web, Android, and iOS platforms. The position requires ownership of the entire user experience: identifying interface issues, conceptualizing and implementing solutions directly within the frontend codebase, and verifying the effectiveness of these enhancements through user outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive audits of existing web and mobile applications to detect user difficulties and revamp user flows entirely.
• Translate designs into fully functional Angular and Ionic screens independently without delegating implementation tasks.
• Ensure every screen is responsive and delivers a native-like experience across Android, iOS, and desktop browsers.
• Engage in real-world user testing with Management Committee members and vendors to gather actionable insights.
• Leverage product analytics to identify user drop-off points and quantify the impact of design modifications.
• Design applications optimized for low-end Android devices, inconsistent network environments, and multilingual support including Kannada and Hindi.
• Develop and sustain the design system, managing tokens, UI components, and patterns in Figma and code, ensuring synchronization.
• Maintain accessibility standards in line with WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines and ensure optimized front-end performance.
• Implement appropriate theming options including dark and light modes, and design for empty, error, and loading states.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers on required APIs and anticipate potential development obstacles.
• Conduct code reviews of UI pull requests, maintaining and improving frontend code quality.
