Role Overview
Burson UAE is looking for motivated Graduate Trainees to join our vibrant Dubai team. This entry-level role is ideal for ambitious recent graduates eager to dive into the fast-paced field of integrated communications and eager to learn, contribute, and grow professionally within a supportive environment. The programme offers exposure to a variety of sectors including Consumer & Brand, Data & Intelligence, Corporate, Technology, Mobility & Transport, Health & Wellness, Government & Public Affairs, and Destination.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to senior team members in daily client account management and support activities.
- Perform detailed research on industry trends, media environments, and competitor activities.
- Create draft versions of press releases, social media posts, and internal communications.
- Track media coverage and social media interactions, compiling reports for clients.
- Assist with developing and updating media contact lists, including journalists and influencers.
- Support logistical coordination such as scheduling meetings and managing administrative duties.
- Engage actively in team meetings and brainstorming to offer new insights.
- Learn to use Burson’s data analysis and intelligence tools for basic data gathering and interpretation.
Candidate Profile & Eligibility
- Recent graduate interested in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or Data Analytics.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for communications through academic work, volunteer roles, or internships.
- Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
- Strong research capabilities with attention to accuracy.
- Highly motivated with a proactive approach and a readiness to take initiative.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office applications—Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their communication roles.
