Job description
Role Overview
The Workforce Planner is responsible for developing dependable forecasts of demand and available talent pools up to 3 to 6 months ahead. The role includes close cooperation with sales, delivery, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development teams to ensure alignment in meeting workforce needs. The planner will also establish and manage the TSC Control Tower to maintain accountability and strategic oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain reliable demand forecasts and supply availability covering a 90 to 180-day rolling period.
- Coordinate with sales and delivery teams to develop plans addressing demand-supply gaps on a rolling 3 to 6-month basis.
- Generate actionable insights and collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development teams for timely expertise development and recruitment.
- Setup and oversee the TSC Control Tower to ensure accountability and alignment on workforce planning health for the region.
- Work with Business Advisors, consulting leaders, and sales teams to moderate strategic staffing plans for key accounts.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Strong communication and influencing capabilities to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis, including creating metrics reports and delivering presentations using PowerPoint.
- Experience leveraging GPT technology for data insight generation and analysis.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in resource management and workforce planning within IT, ITES, product development, or consulting sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership, showing a global mindset.
- Willingness to work flexible hours between 12 noon and 9 pm IST.
