Position Summary

dnata is seeking experienced Truck Drivers to join their team at Perth Airport, Western Australia. This full-time role involves operating medium rigid vehicles to transport galley equipment to aircraft, liaising with customers, and ensuring adherence to company and aviation standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a medium rigid (MR) vehicle to deliver and collect catering galley equipment.
• Load and unload galley equipment onto trucks and aircraft efficiently.
• Coordinate with customers to hand over deliveries professionally.
• Prepare and pack catering equipment for flights.
• Perform short-distance driving duties as required.
• Marshal other drivers on the tarmac to position trucks in alignment with company, airport, and airline protocols.
• Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks including refuelling and report any defects according to company procedures.
• Complete administrative duties by compiling reports and documentation.
• Assemble, pack, and verify flight equipment both at the kitchen unit and on board aircraft.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies to ensure flight accuracy.
• Conduct cleaning of aircraft galleys, vehicles, and cabin service areas.
• Mentor new staff by offering advice and guidance for daily operations.
• Adhere strictly to hygiene, safety, quality, and customer service standards throughout all tasks.
• Follow applicable plans such as Galley Loading Plan, Cart Packing Plan, and Equipment Loading Plan.
• Comply with company policies related to HALAL, HACCP, QSAI / Food Safety, Workplace Health and Safety, Quarantine, and Customs.
• Flexibly support other areas of the unit as operational demands require.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum one year experience driving trucks professionally.
• Possession of a valid Medium Rigid (MR) or Heavy Rigid (HR) driver’s license is mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills demonstrated through courteous and professional interaction.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle daily responsibilities.
• Capability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions precisely.

Compensation and Work Hours

This is a full-time position located in Perth, Western Australia. The role offers guaranteed annual earnings ranging between $79,499 and $85,000 plus superannuation.
