Overview

The role of a Transportation Specialist within the Network Operations Center (NOC) is to facilitate communication flow among various stakeholders, including warehouses, category teams, and carriers, handling any issues that may affect customer satisfaction and business continuity. This position focuses on inbound operations, managing relationships with vendors, carriers, and fulfillment centers to plan freight delivery according to scheduled appointments.

Key Responsibilities

The Transportation Specialist promptly addresses and resolves issues by utilizing internal tools and applying real-time decision-making. They analyze data patterns and trends to uphold customer experience without sacrificing timelines. Strong written and verbal communication skills and a fundamental knowledge of logistics are essential. Daily tasks include responding to vendor and seller inquiries via email, phone, or ticketing systems in a timely manner within a complex environment. Ownership of the communication flow, progress reporting, issue identification, and resolution is critical. The role demands high standards in managing requests, removing obstacles, and enhancing vendor experience through solutions.

Team Information

The NOC Inbound Team is responsible for the end-to-end execution of the inbound shipment process for vendors and sellers. This includes appointment scheduling, prioritization, sidelining, rescue, modifications, and other related activities across India and ECCF countries.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative/technical fields such as computer science, engineering, or statistics
• Proficiency in Excel
• Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to manage time efficiently, meet goals, and collaborate well with internal teams, partners, and customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced SQL experience for data mining and business intelligence
• Excellent time management capabilities
• Experience in developing process improvements through automation and analysis
