Job description
Job Overview
Entrusted with winding low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) coils for oil-cooled and dry-type transformers, strictly following design criteria to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with testing protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute coil winding tasks for distribution and power transformers rated up to 5 MVA capacity.
- Operate and manage winding machinery, tensioning devices, and insulation application tools.
- Interpret and implement information from engineering drawings and specific design requirements.
- Ensure all work aligns with applicable quality standards, including IS/IEC norms.
- Handle tasks related to tap leads, interlayer insulation procedures, and supporting core assemblies.
- Track material usage diligently and uphold discipline within the production floor environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Completed ITI or Diploma qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with copper and aluminum winding processes, including knowledge of insulation materials employed.
- Proficient in reading and understanding electrical schematics and winding data documentation.
