About the Role

Join PwC New Zealand's Transformation Design & Delivery team in Wellington as a Manager, where your extensive experience in enterprise transformation and large-scale delivery programmes will be vital. You will help clients navigate intricate change processes, bringing structure and momentum to delivery efforts while nurturing valued executive relationships and advancing PwC’s transformation methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead key workstreams, driving solutions that address complex issues and generate significant client value.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend challenges, develop actionable solutions, and build trust throughout engagements.
  • Oversee delivery phases including planning and execution across transformation programmes, assuming accountability for outcomes.
  • Mentor junior colleagues, fostering a cooperative, high-achieving team environment.
  • Advance PwC’s tools and frameworks, shaping transformation delivery practices.
  • Effectively plan resource allocation and adapt to shifting priorities for seamless delivery management.
  • Identify, manage, and escalate risks timely to maintain project progress.
  • Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.
  • Support implementation and service transition to embed solutions sustainably.
  • Utilize PwC’s coaching and development resources to enhance professional growth.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum six years’ experience leading transformation, change, or project-driven workstreams.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders at multiple organizational levels and influence effectively.
  • Familiarity with structured delivery methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE2, or PMI/PMBOK, with practical application skills.
  • Experience collaborating with vendors and multidisciplinary teams to manage complexity and align goals.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts into actionable plans.
  • Highly organized and proactive, able to juggle priorities and deliver results independently in a dynamic setting.
