Role Overview
The tax arena is rapidly evolving with global developments, new regulations, and shifting expectations. Our Tax and Legal teams help clients navigate these complexities, uncover opportunities, and achieve strategic goals by combining technical expertise, commercial insight, and innovation.
As a member of Deloitte’s Transfer Pricing team in Dublin, you'll work primarily with Irish and multinational clients, offering advisory, documentation, and controversy support, including handling interventions, Advance Pricing Agreements, and Mutual Agreement Procedures. The role suits candidates at Manager level or similar, responsible for managing daily client engagements and enhancing technical judgment supported by senior colleagues.
We offer a competitive starting salary of €68,600, subject to adjustments based on experience and expertise.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage projects that encompass transfer pricing planning, policy design and implementation, compliance programs, and audit defense strategies.
- Lead functional analysis interviews and perform economic analyses.
- Prepare and review transfer pricing documentation using detailed functional, comparability, and economic assessments, leveraging market-leading technology tools.
- Assist clients in resolving transfer pricing disputes, including interventions, APA, and MAP projects.
- Collaborate with clients to develop practical solutions to their transfer pricing operational challenges.
- Engage with Deloitte’s global member firms on international advisory assignments.
- Support senior leadership in business development by identifying growth opportunities and contributing to practice management.
- Mentor junior team members and actively contribute to their professional growth.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication, able to craft innovative ideas and solutions with analytical thinking.
- Strong capabilities in maintaining and developing client relationships.
- Proficient in planning and monitoring projects, including budgeting, timelines, and team management.
- Well-versed in current and proposed transfer pricing regulations globally (OECD, EU, IRS, etc.) and their client impacts.
- Prior experience with financial services transactions, such as insurance, funds, and banking, is advantageous.
- Experience in dispute resolution including APA and MAP is beneficial.
- Familiarity with economic analysis databases is a plus.
- A motivated professional eager to advance their career, take on leadership responsibilities, and work on diverse assignments.
Location and Work Arrangement
This position is based in Dublin and follows a hybrid working model combining office and remote working arrangements.
