Training Manager

About the Role

The Training Manager will take charge of creating, applying, and supervising comprehensive learning and development initiatives that support the organization's goals. This role is crucial in boosting employee performance, nurturing leadership skills, and promoting a culture of ongoing education throughout the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform training needs assessments across different departments to detect skill deficiencies, factors driving performance, and future skill requirements.
• Develop, refresh, and design compelling training programs, including workshops, e-learning content, and onboarding processes.
• Execute training sessions, workshops, and leadership development activities employing diverse teaching methods and formats.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with external training providers, consultants, and platform partners to complement internal resources.
• Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate training impact, return on investment, and employee engagement; continuously improve programs based on feedback and data.
• Oversee the annual budget allocated to Learning & Development, ensuring resources are distributed effectively among programs and technologies.
• Support the organization's strategic changes by preparing employees with the essential skills and attitudes.

Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of five years of advancing experience in Learning & Development, instructional design, or talent management, ideally in a corporate setting.
• A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a similar discipline; a master's degree or certifications like CPLP or ATD are advantageous.
• Proven ability in instructional design and familiarity with contemporary Learning Management Systems and e-learning development tools.
• Excellent skills in facilitation, public speaking, and interpersonal communication.
• Strong project management skills with the aptitude to juggle multiple initiatives concurrently.
• A data-oriented approach with experience in monitoring training metrics and calculating ROI.
