Job description
Position Overview
This role is focused on advising and enhancing employee development, covering practical, technical, and behavioral knowledge aspects to boost individual productivity. Responsibilities include managing scholarships and secondments within the organization, developing training needs analyses, and coordinating training programs aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer guidance on methods to enhance staff knowledge across practical, technical, and behavioral domains to increase productivity, and oversee scholarship and secondment activities.
- Advise on conducting training needs analysis by evaluating performance management results and identifying competency gaps, then collaborate with internal agencies to design comprehensive training plans that tackle these gaps.
- Recommend approaches for designing and implementing employee development initiatives consistent with organizational requirements.
- Suggest procedures for scheduling training sessions, handling employee registrations, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs.
- Support monitoring the execution of training activities according to the established annual development plans.
- Guide evaluation processes to assess training program effectiveness utilizing various methods and measurement tools.
- Review feedback and comments on training programs, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Advise on managing training invitations from external bodies, including coordinating nominations and liaising with internal stakeholders.
- Oversee documentation management, including certificate handling, archiving, and database maintenance.
- Suggest follow-up mechanisms for scholarship recipients, offering responses to inquiries and support as needed.
- Manage scholarship requests such as extensions, deferrals, changes in specialization or university.
- Develop and recommend reporting procedures for academic activities, defining key performance indicators.
- Participate in preparing and presenting reports on key training indicators to relevant parties.
- Review and approve scholarship applications as part of the process.
- Collect, analyze, and identify organizational needs for educational qualifications and prepare an annual plan detailing seat allocation across sectors.
- Adhere to organizational work guidelines, cybersecurity policies, and departmental procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualification & Experience
- At least 6 years of applicable experience in a related domain.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
