Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Training and Performance Management Specialist to enhance our HR capabilities. This role involves overseeing training programs, coordinating performance management processes, and facilitating employee development, all aligned with company goals. The ideal candidate will bring experience from multinational environments and demonstrate excellence in communication, training delivery, and performance evaluation.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, organize, and execute yearly training and development strategies tailored to organizational and employee requirements.
- Perform training needs assessments to detect skills and competency shortages across various departments.
- Manage both internal and outsourced training sessions, workshops, and educational activities.
- Oversee the complete training process including scheduling, participant selection, attendance tracking, feedback collection, and maintenance of training documentation.
- Assess and report on the success and return on investment of training initiatives.
- Assist in the deployment and ongoing refinement of the company's Performance Management System.
- Administer performance review cycles ensuring all departments complete appraisals promptly.
- Guide managers and staff in establishing clear, measurable objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze evaluation outcomes to uncover areas for performance improvement.
- Prepare insightful reports and dashboards for leadership on performance metrics and training success.
- Support creation and application of Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for employee growth.
- Maintain precise employee training and evaluation records within HR software.
- Leverage ERP and HR platforms to streamline training and performance workflows.
- Ensure HR practices meet corporate policies and industry best standards.
- Deliver regular presentations and reports on training and performance management progress.
- Work closely with HR Business Partners, department heads, and supervisors to tackle employee growth and performance challenges.
- Contribute to HR initiatives focusing on talent development, succession planning, and employee motivation.
- Guarantee adherence to company regulations concerning training and performance evaluations.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 4 years of professional experience in Training, Learning and Development, or Performance Management within HR.
- Experience within multinational corporations is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant disciplines; candidates with degrees in Finance, IT, Industrial Engineering are also considered if they have HR experience.
- Proficient with ERP/HR systems, including SAP, Oracle, 360-degree Performance Management tools, and MENA region HR platforms.
- Deep understanding of training methodologies and performance management cycles.
- Strong analytical skills coupled with organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and relationship management capabilities.
- Fluent English language skills, both verbal and written.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently within a dynamic multicultural workplace.
- Detail-oriented with strong prioritization skills.
Educational Preferences
A bachelor's degree is mandatory, preferably from international universities or King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM).
Desirable Candidate Traits
- Previous work within multinational environments.
- Familiarity with structured training and performance management programs.
- Hands-on use of SAP, Oracle, 360-degree feedback systems, and MENA HR software.
- Excellent English communication, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders and employees across organizational levels.
