About the Role
Shalina Laboratories Private Limited is inviting applications for the position of Trainee - Procurement. This role offers an excellent opportunity to enter the procurement field within a dynamic pharmaceutical company. You will gain practical experience and develop your skills in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials and services required by the company.
- Support negotiations with vendors regarding contracts and agreements.
- Maintain and update procurement records using SAP software.
- Analyze procurement data through MS Excel and prepare reports to monitor expenses and discover cost-saving options.
- Work closely with different departments to ensure timely receipt of materials and services.
- Take part in supplier assessments and performance evaluations to maintain quality and compliance standards.
- Adhere to organizational policies and protocols related to procurement and supply management.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience.
- Educational qualification of B. Pharm or B. Sc degree.
- Strong command over MS Excel including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUM, AVERAGE, SUMIF, etc.
- Familiarity with SAP is considered a valuable additional skill.
- Effective communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
Work Conditions and Benefits
- Salary range: INR 200,000 to INR 220,000 per year.
- Work schedule comprises 5 days a week with an informal dress code.
- Company provides transportation or cab services.
