Join Specsavers in Blanchardstown as a Trainee Optical Assistant, an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about retail and exceptional customer service but without prior experience in optics. This position is focused on creating an outstanding atmosphere in-store, ensuring every visitor receives excellent care and support.

Key Responsibilities & Attributes
As a Trainee Optical Assistant, you will be expected to confidently welcome and assist customers, contributing positively to the store's atmosphere. Success in the role requires a strong customer service focus, excellent teamwork, initiative, and comfort with IT systems. You should demonstrate excellent communication and listening skills, be open to feedback, willing to step outside your comfort zone, and ready to engage fully with the development process supported by experienced Opticians and Technicians.
Desired Qualifications & Experience
While no prior optics experience is needed, having a background in fast-paced customer service environments, the optics or audiology industry, or a basic understanding of related terminology can be advantageous. Note that a video component may be part of the interview process.
